Bandeau & Strapless
A straight band across the bust, with the straps taken off or made detachable. It is the only top shape that leaves your shoulders completely clear, which is the entire point if you are after an even tan.
If you plan to actually move around, look for a silicone grip strip or a boned band - a plain bandeau will not hold on its own past a certain bust size. Several styles here come with removable halter straps so you can wear it either way.
